Day 1
RULES
● Number of participants: 2
● Duration: 1.5 hour+15 minutes for presentation
● Participants are required to make 1 drink, 1 starter and 1 dessert according to the
theme.
● The theme will be given 4 days prior to the event.
● Participants are to carry their own materials, ingredients, cutlery, serving plates
and glasses. Only mixer grinder, whipping machine and fridge will be available for
use. It is recommended to bring your own electrical handy devices.
● All meals must be prepared without the use of fire. Equipment such as induction
cook-top cannot be used.
● Food should be vegetarian. Use of alcohol is prohibited. Try not to use ready-made
soda.
● The use of the microwave oven is only allowed for melting.
● Boiled ingredients, prepared sauce and plain cakes/biscuits can be brought for
the event and are to be handed over during the reporting time.
● Extra points will be awarded for good presentation and cleanliness on the working
table.
● Judgement Criteria: Taste, Flavour and Colour, Time taken for Preparation, Table layout
and Presentation, Originality, Cleanliness
